When working with individuals, I assist by allowing you to lead me. I strive to build an authentic connection with clients and utilize a “strength-based approach” as a means to see opportunities and solutions rather than problems and obstacles. My aim is to engage you in a joint effort to find sustainable change through growth and learning experiences.
I am experienced in a variety of therapy models. My primary areas of clinical focus are trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, relationship issues, family issues, parenting and child development. I work with individuals, couples and children/families. My background with children and families comes from prior work in the classroom with special needs children and working in supplemental education. It was this experience that helped shape my view of the client-therapist relationship and assists with making meaningful changes in my clients’ lives.
