Our brains are brilliant!

Our brain functions are naturally wired to look for threats in the world. We are set up for survival which helps us to identify physical dangers, be aware of inconsistencies in our environment and to view the unknown as a risk.

Sometimes these signals over-function based on experiences of the past and we get internal messages that alarm us and lead to anxiety. No wonder it feels like our brains won’t shut off! The abundance of stimuli we experience everyday can make us feel overwhelmed, which can translate to being worried, fearful and/or anxious. In today’s world, this is a common experience and often needs outside support to allow you to share your worries while also learning new ways of managing that feel right for you.

We’re here to help you process what’s occupying your mind and discover tools to help you feel unstuck and more at ease. We will work together to boost mindfulness; help you feel more centered and grounded and allow you to focus on what is most important to you.
