Having the experience of trauma is prevalent in our society and needs a specialized type of attention. We are specifically trained to recognize and respond to the signs of trauma.  We are sensitive to understanding how to address the wide range of symptoms that are characteristic of trauma.

You may wonder how we work with trauma symptoms, and we know the idea of it can feel daunting. Our priority is to create a safe environment that allows you to be vulnerable while instilling coping skills to help you feel secure during this important work.  Our process aims to provide safety, understanding and to avoid re-traumatization. This involves building trust at your pace, and step by step collaborative work with you.

We are not here to ask, “what is wrong with you?” we are here to understand “what happened to you?”
